Contracting is one of the most technically demanding and relationally complex aspects of team coaching practice and one of the least examined. We talk about it, we teach it, we reflect on it in supervision. And yet the live reality of it the moment the brief shifts: the team wants something that isn't yours to give, or what's in the room bears little resemblance to what was agreed six weeks ago can still catch even experienced practitioners off guard.

This day creates space to sit with that reality honestly and to do it in the company of people who understand it from the inside.

Drawing on the principles of supervision and reflective practice, Contracting for Emergence brings experienced team coaches together to work with live cases, think alongside skilled peers, and examine the edges of their own practice in a way that is rigorous, relational, and genuinely useful.

MEET YOUR PROGRAMME LEADERS

This programme is co-designed and delivered by two exceptional practitioners who bring both rigorous research and deep practical experience:

Caroline Duffy

  • Caroline Duffy is an executive and team coach working with leaders and teams across professional services, financial services, tech and the public sector in Ireland, the UK and Europe. A faculty member at Team Coaching Studio, Caroline brings both breadth of practitioner experience and a deep commitment to the craft of team coaching. She is a qualified coaching supervisor with a specialism in team coaching supervision, holding the ICCS Advanced Diploma in Coaching Supervision.

    Caroline's style is curious and systemic she works with the whole picture, attending to what's spoken and what isn't, what's present in the room and what the wider system is carrying. She creates conditions where practitioners feel genuinely seen and, from that foundation, professionally stretched, leaving with a sharper sense of their own practice and the edges they want to work with next.

Jennifer Campion

  • Jen is a seasoned Executive and Team Coach with a background in strategy and organisational change. She brings a behaviour-focused, experiential approach and works with leaders and teams facing complexity and transformation. Clients value the balance of warmth and edge she brings — creating the trust and stretch needed for honest dialogue, courageous learning, and lasting growth.

    Before setting up her coaching practice, Jen gained extensive leadership experience leading large change programmes as a Director in EY’s People Consulting Practice and, before that, as Head of Strategy and Business Planning at Tesco Ireland. Her experience spans health, finance, and utilities in the Irish public sector, and pharma and retail in global, multicultural contexts.

    Jen holds an MSc in Executive & Business Coaching, a Diploma in Team Coaching, and a further postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Gestalt. She values Gestalt’s emphasis on awareness and presence — seeing it as the foundation for real, sustained change rather than quick fixes. This perspective underpins her work with teams, helping them see the system they’re part of and make conscious, lasting shifts in how they work together.

Bridging global strategic leadership with experiential Gestalt practice, this partnership ensures participants leave the training equipped to handle complex team dynamics and emergence with total confidence. Moving past quick fixes, practitioners gain the robust evidence, systemic insight, and sharp self-awareness needed to understand their unique presence and impact when working with teams.
